Rigger / Machinery Mover — Project-Based / Travel

Henke Industrial is seeking experienced riggers, machinery movers, and millwright support personnel for part-time, project-based work throughout the U.S. We move heavy industrial equipment, support plant shutdowns, and handle installation projects on tight schedules.
This is a great fit for someone who:
  • Is retired or semi-retired from the trade and wants to stay sharp
  • Wants supplemental income without a full-time commitment
  • Enjoys hands-on industrial work and travel
  • Has a background in rigging, millwright work, or heavy industrial moves

Typical Work

  • Rigging and relocating industrial machinery
  • Loading and unloading heavy equipment
  • Setting machinery on foundations and leveling/aligning
  • Working alongside experienced rigging and millwright crews
  • Occasional overnight and multi-day travel

Requirements

  • Industrial rigging, millwright, or machinery moving experience
  • Strong safety awareness and ability to work in active industrial environments
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort with hand and power tools
  • Ability to travel periodically on an as-needed basis
  • Forklift experience, rigging certifications, or millwright background a plus
